Whilst writing this blog, I feel very lucky ...
But then again school is over for the day!

I try and take my camera everywhere and I try not to annoy everyone at the same time!
forest of dean, england
There are many (lots of bloody) forests in England. Forrest of Dean is just one of them. It has great walking trails and a playground for the kids and coffee shops for the mums!
and then it snowed
I have been complaining about the weather in pretty much every blog since I arrived in the UK - how could it be so cold and not snow!
Well this week for a 24 hour period, Mother Nature granted my wish - cold weather with snow!
I have never seen anything so amazing .. almost magical. The kids loved every moment from the snow ball throwing to the snow man making and everything in between.
westminster abbey through my camera
One of the places Caerwyn and Cerys did enjoy was Westminster Abbey. What an incredible place, words and pictures do not do it justice. If you are even in London, I recommend that you take time (at least 2 hours) to explore and immerse yourself in Westminster Abbey.

Sarah and I ventured into London with the kids - a huge task. 2 mums (partially sane), 7 year old, 6 year old and a 3 year old ... what were we thinking!
We took the kids to all the usual places but what I don't understand is that whilst they were very excited to be seeing all these amazing places - the London Eye, Big Ben, Tower of London the list goes on and on but when you ask Caerwyn or Cerys what the best part of our short trip away was .... the hotel! I mean, it wasn't a great hotel ... just a hotel! I don't get it, can someone please explain?
