Marta explained to us that all new visitors into Girona were to kiss the bottom of the lion and that good luck would fall upon them ... legend or 'trick the Aussies'!
So we did like the legend suggests and kissed the bum ... well 2 off us kissed it and 2 off us couldn't reach!!
David then told Marta and Xavi that visitors to Sydney were to kiss the bum of the largest elephant at Taronga Zoo and good luck would be theirs ... can't wait for them to visit Sydney!!

Oh warm weather! Oh warm weather! I am loving it!
The sun does amazing things to my mood, (although if you ask my children and husband they'd probably disagree) but I do feel different, when you are warm outside you are warm inside!
The kids are loving it as well - new sunnies were required!
There is just something about this photo of Cerys that I love. It was completely unplanned, the sun was just right and everything fell into place.
The sunglasses ... the hair ... he is just all round dude!
I have also started the offical countdown to the big day ... no not my birthday but the day we fly to Bologna, Italy. ITALY!!! One week to go!

Cerys has been sick for the past 3 days with some sort of bug that gave her high fevers, stomach cramps and just generally made her feel really lousy. She now has some sort of bug that has given her an attitude, increased levels of bossiness and just generally made her all round extra cheeky!!
Here's some photos that I was working on before she became sick.

Handing over my camera is a big deal ... it's like taking a part of me and giving control of that part to someone else.
So I gave control to David whilst he was in Jerez (4th round of the MotoGP) and I have to say he captured some brilliant moments of the race.
I especially liked this one - it took a little while for us to realize that there are 2 bikes in this shot.

Im sorry everyone - I have been very slack lately with blogging. We are back in Barcelona or should I say sunny Barcelona - finally some warm weather. I can feel my mood changing as I type ... happy, happy, happy!
Well let's see, we have been in BCN for a week and apart from school work we really haven't ventured out much. It took 3 days for our jet lag to disappear so we fell a little behind on our school work but now that we have caught up, we will start heading out and exploring again.
The kids took me row boating for mothers day - a most enjoyable outing .... David was trying to capture the moment for me but guess who played the clown in the back ground? Life is too short to be too serious all the time!
I hope all my wonderful girlfriends had a most enjoyable day on Sunday - we all deserved a little down time.
Just snaps.
The only time my two stop lately is when they are sleeping.
Kx
